Birmingham Food Photography at Restaurant "About 8" by Andrew Sheridan

About 8 is the brain child of Great British Chef contestant, Andrew Sheridan.  It is a 16 seater, kitchen table experience focussed around everything 8.  

About 8 offers a unique dining experience in Birmingham, blending modern British cuisine with artistic presentation. As a food photographer, capturing the essence of Sheridan's dishes is a dream—each plate is a masterpiece of flavor and visual appeal.

The restaurant's intimate setting enhances the storytelling through my lens, making every shot resonate with culinary artistry. The combination of innovative cooking techniques and a focus on local ingredients ensures every dish is not only delicious but photogenic.

Tom's brief, as a Food Photographer, was to use the moody colours and textures of the restaurant to make the food pop out of the photograph, enhanced by the interior design.  Andrew wanted the images to be simple with not to much fuss so it was all about the food.
